LESCO Begins Electricity Supply in Lahore Press Club Housing Scheme Block-F — A Landmark Milestone
Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) officially commenced electricity supply in Block-F of the Lahore Press Club Housing Scheme (Journalist Colony) after successfully completing the overhead external electrification project.
Electricity is now provided via an 11kV line from the Asif Town Feeder, connected to the 132kV Press Club Grid Station. The project was executed in strict compliance with departmental regulations, committee recommendations, and approved procedures.

At the Lahore Press Club, President Arshad Ansari and media representatives welcomed CEO LESCO, Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt, and acknowledged the company’s assumption of formal administrative control over power distribution and maintenance in the area. Previously, the system had been managed by LDA since the colony’s establishment.
As chief guest, CEO Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt reviewed the project’s completion and formally inaugurated electricity supply. He emphasized:
