LESCO Boosts Recovery from Defaulters — Rs. 267.82 Million Collected in September 2025

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has made major strides in its ongoing recovery campaign against electricity bill defaulters, achieving significant progress during September.

According to official data, LESCO successfully recovered Rs. 267.82 million from 7,899 defaulters across its operational circles. The recovered amount includes Rs. 183.89 million from private running connections and Rs. 83.92 million through disconnections.

Circle-Wise Recovery Breakdown

Kasur Circle: Rs. 113.89 million recovered from 4,091 defaulters — leading all regions.

Central Circle: Rs. 72.44 million from 1,564 defaulters.

Eastern Circle: Rs. 35.68 million from 421 defaulters.

Northern Circle: Rs. 5.18 million from 133 defaulters.

Okara Circle: Rs. 9.86 million from 506 defaulters.

Nankana Circle: Rs. 7.83 million from 630 defaulters.

Sheikhupura Circle: Rs. 17.87 million from 441 defaulters.

South Circle: Rs. 5.08 million from 113 defaulters.

CEO’s Statement

LESCO Chief Executive Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt reaffirmed the company’s firm stance on strict and impartial action against defaulters. He emphasized that further measures will be implemented to ensure timely payment of electricity bills.

He also urged consumers to cooperate in the recovery drive, noting that improved bill collection directly contributes to better electricity supply and overall system efficiency.
