LESCO’s Crackdown on Power Theft: Over Rs. 743 Million Recovered Under Zero-Tolerance Policy
In a decisive move toward eliminating electricity theft, the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has intensified its ongoing operations, successfully recovering over Rs. 743.44 million from power thieves across its service regions. The crackdown aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and the strict zero-tolerance directives issued by Federal Minister for Energy, Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, and Chief Executive Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt.
Massive Recoveries and Nationwide Impact
During September 2025, LESCO received 4,881 complaints related to electricity theft — including 4,623 domestic, 193 commercial, 44 agricultural, and 21 industrial cases. Out of 4,824 FIR applications, 2,763 FIRs were registered, resulting in 41 arrests and detection of 5.945 million stolen units.
Detection bills worth Rs. 291.99 million were issued, contributing to a total recovery exceeding Rs. 743 million.
This decisive campaign highlights how accountability and enforcement can restore fairness to the power sector — much like how consistent engagement rewards users in systems like Game Vault 777, where transparency and fair play define long-term success.
Leadership’s Commitment to Clean Energy Practices
According to Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt, LESCO remains fully committed to enforcing its zero-tolerance policy against electricity theft. He emphasized that theft of power isn’t just an economic crime but a national injustice to honest consumers who pay their dues responsibly.
LESCO’s coordinated actions — in partnership with law enforcement agencies including police and rangers — have not only reduced theft but also enhanced billing recovery and system efficiency. The company plans to sustain these drives until complete eradication of power theft is achieved.
This renewed focus on integrity echoes the discipline found in digital systems like Game Vault 999, where every action is tracked and rewarded according to transparent rules — ensuring fair outcomes for all participants.
A Step Toward Responsible Energy Use
LESCO’s continued efforts reflect Pakistan’s growing commitment to energy conservation, financial transparency, and public accountability. Each recovered rupee strengthens the power sector’s sustainability and reduces the burden on honest citizens.
For consumers, this initiative sends a clear message — electricity theft hurts everyone, and cooperation with LESCO can help build a more stable and efficient national grid for the future.
